Screenings
Why School Screenings?
Our in-school dental screenings not only provide free health assessments and education to county children in public schools, but they also serve as our best means of reaching those with the greatest need. Our team of volunteer dental professionals are able to identify the students who are most at-risk and perhaps uninsured. Following screenings, parents receive a detailed assessment of their child’s oral health and the necessary information for scheduling follow-up treatment, either through their own dentist or at our Healthy Smiles clinic.
